The sizes available are almost infinitely variable and they are very easy to assemble with little specialised equipment necessary. Our most popular and always available Shelters are 6m long by 3.6m wide and 2.4m high, which are ideal for the family car, boat or animal. They take approx. 4 hours to erect, can be laid down onto earth or any other level surface such as timber (a wharf), asphalt or concrete, with no more than two spanners, 2 screwdrivers, a tape measure, a roll of heavy string and a small set of steps.
The largest unit is 50 m wide, 22 m high and can be as long as you require. Construction time varies depending on the configuration of any selected shelter. For example a unit 24m long by 11 m wide by 10 m high would require one supervisor and about 5 unskilled workers, with general tools, a movable scissor lift unit, a small truck crane and take about 5 to 7 days to construct.
These shelters can be fixed down in place, fitted onto rails to enable the telescoping of several segments, facilitating the covering of different size projects or they can have larger pneumatic tyres allowing them to be moved between two designated sites. They can be crane lifted to anywhere on a large site to provide an emergency repair workshop, at a mining site for example.
